About us

Leone Community Development and Human Rights(LCDHR)sl. is led by Peter Mattia founder and executive Director who has best experience in a civil society organizations with a team of professionals. The organization started in 2014 at the head office in Kenema District with volunteer work in the various communities. Community in decision making process. All activities, programs and materials provided by Leone Community Development and Human Rights Sl. are planned, developed and implemented in collaboration with members of the community. LCDHR Board include individuals with professional experiences working in various organizations within the country. Leone Community Development and Human Rights primary objective is to compliment Government efforts in providing services to people in Sierra Leone and other countries in future so as to enable them to meet their life expectancies as well as making them to be self reliant. Since its inception host of activities have been outlined and undertaking through Community participation and collaboration with Government ministries, Development and agencies. Primary among other things within the organization operational framework is embedded in participatory approach in all ventures.

OUR MISSION AND VISION

Mission: Leone Community Development and Human Rights mission is to work with rural communities in order to enable them to utilize their fullest potentials for the development of their respective community in diverse ways including Agriculture, environment health and sanitation, advocacy on human rights, education and vulnerable women and children etc.

Vision: Enhancing an improved agricultural aids often socio-economic ventures with the nation to upgrade the status of rural communities so as to facilitate sustainable development for poor community.

 

Our Objective:
